Today, we're excited to announce that the Stairway product has been acquired by Albert, a European-based EdTech company. This acquisition will enable Albert to expand their services to the UK and beyond.
Arta Mandegari and Salman Eskandari, founders of Albert, said: “It is very exciting to be able to present this first acquisition after the IPO. We are impressed with Stairway's product and believe that the content will be suitable for Albert's apps as we continue to broaden with more subjects and to broader age categories on the UK market.”
Charles Williamson, CEO and Founder of Stairway, said: “We’re excited to partner with Albert to accelerate their expansion to English-speaking markets, and to continue in our joint mission to build a digital personal tutor to increase the accessibility of high-quality education.
Stairway will work with Albert over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
Over the past two years, we've loved supporting the 10,000s of you who have used Stairway, to make learning more student-centric. We've loved hearing from you with feedback, and the ways in which you have used Stairway to improve your grades, your learning and your lives. We feel honoured to have supported our learners with their learning from home, especially during the pandemic. We feel confident in the Albert team to continue offering high-quality education and outstanding service to our user base.
